DIGITAL MARKETING GURU!
INFLUENCER PARTNERSHIPS, SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING, SEO, SEM, AUTHOR,
Bre Patterson has more than 10 years of experience in marketing, influencer marketing, and social media, combined with a huge passion for food and connecting people. Bre brings a unique set of skills to our agency, leveraging the power of social media to grow online presences, develop strategy and content planning, and implement performance-driven solutions.
After graduating from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science, Bre began her career as the Beverage and Private Events Manager at CB & Potts restaurant and brewery, after which she served as the Sports & Entertainment Premium Service Director at ARAMARK. She then left Colorado for Sweden, where she dipped her toe into the marketing world and took a position as Marketing Innovation Manager at Technia AB.
After moving back to the States in 2014, Bre returned to ARAMARK as Private Events Sales Manager. Her next three years were with Protein Bar as their Regional Catering and Marketing Manager, a multi-faceted role in which she managed catering programs for the Denver-area locations, executed strategic marketing campaigns, drove local business development, and established community and influencer partnerships for the brand.
During Bre’s time at Protein Bar, she began her own food blog, Bites with Bre, which allowed her to connect her love for all things hospitality with an interest in the ever-growing world of social media. Her experiences as a blogger and influencer inspired Bre to start her own social media consulting company, Bästa Media, in 2017. Bästa Media focuses on helping brands share their voice and engage with target demographics through online marketing, social media, influencer partnerships, media events, and more. To expand her reach, Bre joined the ROOT Marketing and PR team in 2018 as an Influencer Partnerships and Social Media Marketing consultant. She built this department from the ground up and has taken sole responsibility for all influencer campaigns.
Bre enjoys sharing her social media expertise and has spoken at General Assembly technical school in Denver, Denver Startup Week, PRSA’s Colorado Chapter, Colorado State University, OpenTable Marketing Summit, Women of Denver and LadyKillas.
After hours you can find Bre covering a new restaurant opening or crafting Instagram posts. She enjoys exploring new hikes, yoga, DIY projects, hosting friends and family for dinner, traveling to new cities and of course - a great glass (or bottle) of wine.

Semester abroad studying "electives". My free time was spent at surf camp and working on my Aussie bronze.

'I'm Bossy' (aka I was a young-millennial in an impressive role as a restaurant GM). This eventually lead to a role as a venue GM at 1stBank Center (amphitheater). Now, I had benefits, a 401k and a real paycheck! #IsThisAdulting
HOW SUITE IT IS
ARAMARK SPORT & ENTERTAINMENT
Apparently I loved the long hours and giving my life away to the sports industry. They paid my relocation, it was a promotion and I traveled with The Kansas City Royals for Post Season & The World Series. I never ate nor slept. I was a zombie and I was there to pay off my student loan debt. In reality though, these were some of the most exciting times of my career.
PLANS FOR DOMINATION
PROTEIN BAR + KITCHEN
My favorite job working for someone other than myself. I was a B.A. at Corporate Catering Sales in Colorado that I also took over the Washington D.C. market. Working with entrepreneurial-spirited people meant I wore many hats. I reported to the Sr. Director of Marketing and assisted with regional marketing efforts. I was their TV spokes person and public relations contact, while I still ran my sales territories. I was so secure in my job that I never wanted to leave. I paid off all my debt and bought a house! #Winning

Goodbye home cooked meals and living rent-free. Hello college and the freedom. These years were filled with plenty of internships and boring jobs to complete a 1 page resume.

The days began at 7am as a golf cart bartender and server. A year later I was promoted to Bar Manager, punching out at 4am. My average monthly paycheck was $624 (let's not talk about the tips though). #LivingOffEmployeeMeals

MID SUMMER MAYPOLES
I learned to speak a little Swedish, danced to African tribal music, ate tons of meatballs and took on a role in Innovation Marketing Manager. Eventually this led to assisting with H1B Visas and US Immigration (No, I never went to law school or had any interest. American's just have easier access when asking work visa questions to the US Embassy). I have no idea how much money I made because it was in Swedish Krona. #SwedishPension
FOOD IS LIFE
BITES WITH BRE
Instagram opened my eyes...or shall I say Mouth? The Bites with Bre brand was born. Touring my way through the best food, newest restaurants, and comfiest hotel accommodations. I made tons of connections with media and restaurant owners/operators.
THE 'BABY' WAS BORN
Loving every day, waking up with panic that I forgot something and finding the balance of an entrepreneur's calendar. I'm named an expert in the social media world, which eventually leads into working with influencers, their agents, and brands. The best project was connecting influencers and sponsors for a five day excursion to Lake Powell. Second best project was the VIP media event for Whole Foods Union Station's grand opening. Growing this baby has been a treat.

AUTHOR, DENVER FOOD CRAWLS
Globe Pequot believed in my writing abilities and asked me to write a book. I'm the proud author and photographer of the Denver Food Crawls, one of the six books in their Food Crawls series (Yes, me; they called me the Denver Food Expert).
I thought they were joking, but 350 photos and 40,000 words later the book is set to release
April 2020. Phew, that was tough.
